About Us
Well, what to say? It's like when you're out with friends and someone says "Tell us a joke!" And your mind freezes... 2 Late 2 Post came about because of our love of travel combined with our love of messing about on the internet.
We've been there, thousands of miles from home feeling the panic when we remembered that someone important to us is about to have a birthday. We've also gone away with good intentions and meant to send everyone postcards. We've even bought and written some of them, but almost without exception we've brought the postcards home with us too... Yes, we're bad. But hey ho! We've no excuses any more, and now that you've found us - neither do you!
Images
The majority of images and pictures used on this site have been photographed by us, designed by us or purchased by us. Some kind friends have also allowed us to use pictures from their own collections, and on that point we'd like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to Nick Kkafas. Nick was kind enough to allow us to use wonderful pictures taken on his Greek Odyssey around the world. Thank you Nick, karma.
Facebook
You can also join us on Facebook and you can see our FB page by clicking here. If you join as a fan from time to time you will receive discount vouchers to use here on our main website.
Zazzle
You can also see our designs on Zazzle where they adorn t-shirts, mugs, posters, fridge magnets and baseball caps amongst many other things! Our Zazzle gallery is here.
Humour
We hope that the site makes you smile, but don't be fooled into thinking that this approach means that we don't also take our commitment to service and quality seriously. We believe that excellent service and a quality product produced in good humour is what business should be about - and that's what we try to do.
Fascinating Information
The extra information we have added to the back of some of our cards to make them even more interesting and educational is generally sourced from the wonderful resource that is Wikipedia. And yes, we have donated to Wikipedia and will continue to do so. Thank you Wikipedia, it's a noble cause and long may you continue to fascinate us with interesting stuff to amaze colleagues and strangers on the bus. Even if sometimes we are reading Wikipedia when we really should be working... Ah well, at least we're learning.
Thank You
Finally, we would like to say thank you to all our family and friends for being so supportive. This whole thing was started on a whim and has caused many grey hairs and a few sleepless nights. Thanks to all those who have been so encouraging and kept us going - you know who you are. Thank you everyone, what goes around comes around!
