The top match was Sparta Manor Royal going through 2-0 on penalties after drawing with Ifield like Chicken Tonight 3-3. Elsewhere, Spice Goals, Copthorne, CnE, Sub-standard Leige and Got FC Ingmilk had easy progress to the 3rd round with News Hounds, who had a bye. It will be harder in the next round.

‘Twas the night before Christmas and in the Champions League House and title contenders Copthorne and Got FC Ingmilk roared to big wins over Ifield Like Chicken Tonight and Sparta Manor Royal. C’n’E with a 1-0 win over News Hounds are now second on 1 goal difference. This is definitely the hardest league in Crawley to win.
Spice Goals think they have the Premier League sewn up with 5 wins from five beating Renford Rejects but Internationale Allstars still have a 100% record with a big win over Renegades of Phunk to go second. Save Trees have struggled to get going this season, post relegation, but a strong display beating Older Goldies may rebuild their confidence.
In the Championship County Oaks put 7 past Number 57 to remain top. The performance of the night was Sub-Standard Liege taking the league leaders, Air Raid Warning, 2-1 to remain in the promotion hunt. Golden Oldies atoned for their defeat in the cup last week to Multiple Scoregasms 3-1 and Supremos magnificently beat Wotnot 2-0. Underestimate them at your peril! That is a warning to all teams left in the cup as the Supremos are gunning for you.

What a brilliant night for football. The leagues are so tight that you couldn’t get a cigarette paper between some of the teams.
In the Champions League the top five teams are all on 6 points with News Hounds leading the way after a supurb 3-2 victory over Copthorne. Got FC Ingmilk got of the mark with a tight 2-1 win over C’n’E to go 3 points behind the leaders and Sparta Manor Royal easily beat a depleted Big Green Machine to go second.
The Premiership leaders, Spice Goals , took Black Mamba 3-0 to stay top with 4 wins out of 4. Renford Rejects and Renegades of Phunk played out an exciting 3-3 draw, a controversial last minute penalty earning a point for Renegades. Also, dark horses, Internationale Allstars beat Older Goldies 2-1 to maintain their 100% record.
The Championship is really close with 4 teams on 6 points. County Oaks lead the pack after beating the mighty Supremos 4-1. Air Raid Warning go second after beating, new boys, Cubitt and West (Wotnot) 2-1. Multiple Scoregasms go third with a great 2-1 win over Every Little Helps while Sud-Standard Liege remain in contention beating Golden Oldies 2-1.

This week is cup fever night, the Winter Cup, so the competiton is likely to get hot, hot, hot. Can anyone knock Got FC Ingmilk of their perch? The draw is on the website and three teams, Copthorne, Got FC Ingmilk and Supremos have got byes.

On the first night of the Christmas Season one goal separated the majority of the teams. It’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top this time.
Champion’s League winners, Broadfield got of to a flyer beating Ifield Like Chicken Tonight (where did that name come from. It just show the power of marketing) 4-1 while, new bhoys, CnE squeaked past Big Green Machine 2-1 and cup finalists Copthorne narrowly beat their cup final opponents Got FC Ingmilk by the same margin.
Who would have thought that Renegades of Phunk and Steyning's finest, Bramber the Tortoise, sorry Renford Rejects, would be leading the premiership. A 4-1 win and a 2-0 win over Older Goldies and Black Mamba have ensured their front running status. However, Spice Goals with, the Case of Beer Trophy winner, Harley are hot on their heels with a 3-2 win over Save Trees Eat Beaver, who definitely won’t take a licking like this lying down. They’ve promised to be on top next week.
County Oaks sprinted into the Championship lead beating Every Little Helps, previously Real Madras (come back Roger, we need you). Multiple Scoregasms just beat Sub-Standard Liege 3-2 and lucky Number 57 came from behind to win 5-3 against Supremos who played like Brazil for 30 mins with Craig leaping like a tin of salmon to head them into the lead at half time.
In the cup News Hounds eased past Internationale Allstars to reach the final next week.

Ifield Media Report 18/11/08

This week was dominated by the 3-way cup final between Got FC Ingmilk, Copthorne and New Hounds. In a tense opening game Got FC just held onto a 1-0 lead as Copthorne piled on the pressure towards the end. Copthorne then won a hard fought battle with News Hounds 3-2 in the second game to remain in contention. Any one could now take the title with Got FC and News Hounds now lining up for the final match. News Hounds threw everyone forward but Got FC soaked up the pressure and won 5-1 to take the cup in style.

Also in the Champions League Ifield Like Chicken Tonight put down a marker to the other teams beating tough Big Green Machine 3-0.
In the Premiership Spice goals just beat Renegades of Phunk 2-0 to go top while Save Trees showed they are force to be reckoned with beating Black Mamba 4-1.
The Championship saw Number 57 put 6 past Multiple Scoregasms and County Oaks beat Sub-Standard Liege 2-1 to go top.
